Tales from far away and a long time ago. Tales we tell our children before they go to sleep. Tales we heard when we were children. Movies have been made, books have been written, amusement parks have been created.

There is one thing everybody in this world just loves and this is fairytales. Whether we meet Snow White and fall asleep when we ate a poisoned apple, or we battle Peter Pan with Captain Hook. Fairytales unite us all!



But what if these fairytales were more than fairytales. What if we just share the stories of real people and just imagine that these battles, these things never happened to anyone. What if all of this was real and you could join these fairytales. This is what happeneds on World of Fairytales.

World of Fairytales is based on the TV series Once Upon A Time, which follows Emma Swan as she discovers all the fairytales are true and that she herself is the daughter of Prince Charming and Snow White. Meeting her family, defeating a curse, falling in love. Emma did it all and still found a happy ending, like every fairytale.
 
To me, World of Fairy Tales is a place where everyone can be themselves without getting judged. Every single member of staff (both graduate and student) work incredibly hard to make sure to include all users and this shows. There's so many quirky characters going around that it's always a surprise what subject will be discussed in chat this time and it's hardly ever truly boring. Since the site focuses on fairy tales, the sky's the limit (of course not entirely, there'll always be some rules xD) and I greatly enjoy this freedom. On top of that, I always grow attached to my characters and especially this one, holds a special place in my heart as he probably has the most elaborate backstory out of all of them. The site is an amazing creative outlet to me and the community is just wonderful and welcoming all around, even to my grump of a werewolf on there.

Ever since we had the idea for World of Fairy Tales, the group of people surrounding us has been extremely close. They have helped us with everything, helped each other and were constantly joking around. Even then it was a place where some people got a second chance and where a group of completely different people, soon became a close group of friends. It was a place where I could joke around with everyone and where we could create something that was truly ours.

What is special about World of Fairy Tales, in my opinion, is the welcoming atmosphere of the site. Everyone gets accepted. I'm really proud of everyone for keeping that up. It's the users who create the site and I think they have managed to make it a success.

The Realms are Misthaven, Agrabah, Arendelle and Camelot. These Realms are lead by their own Ruler of Reals..

Misthaven is also called the Enchanted Forest, it's...well...a forest. The people there are quite creative and strive to make things better. Agrabah is the desert Realm. The people can be quite ruthless. Arendelle has... lots of ice and reindeer, which I guess is fun. The people are welcoming and kind. Camelot has a lot of horses...and horse poop. Their knights are quite courageous. Especially Camelot and Agrabah have the tendency to fight... but at the end of the day, all of them will remain loyal to their Queen (at least somewhat).

Become part of a fairytale yourself and discover whether or not you will find your own happy ending! Beware the Queen though, I heard Ariana Beaumont can be quite strict. Though maybe her Royal AdviserSirhan Majrashi might her her slow her kind and soft side more often.
