From the future, we move back into our past. Well, not technically our past... Alagaësia is a wonderful new world were dragons exist and have learned to live together with the humans and other races inhabiting this strange new world.

Step into a Medieval world where dragons, humans, elves, dwarves and many moe creatures live. Learn to fight or to fy a dragon. Welcome on World of Alagaësia.

Like I said before, Alagaësia is a different world than ours. Humans live in one part of the land, where as dwarves have claimed the mountains in the south and the elves live in the Northern Woods named Du Weldenvarden.

The land is devided into four armies. Carvahall, lead by Cera Smith remains mostly within the Palancar Valley. This is the town where Eragon was born and the place his cousin was given to rule once. Now Cera takes good care of the place and the people.

Ruling the biggest part of the country is Imperial, led by none other than Asena DelVaux. This fierce ldy rules the kingdom with might and strength and has the help of her fabulous dragon. Oh, didn't you know? You can become a Dragon Rider if a dragon chooses you as his companion. Asena is one of those Rider and even teaching young Riders what she knows!
 
There are multiple reasons why I love having this job on WoA. It has always been the site I loved most, not only because of the fandom but because of the people who are there with me. I love being able to show people my appreciation as much as I can, help them out when needed and much more. Everyone is so nice and loving, I am so thankful for being able to contribute as much as I can to the site in the position I have.

Ofcourse, when one leads a big kingdom, there will always be those who fight against them. In Alagaësia, these rebels are known as the Varden. Zebulun Zeb Angove leads the Rebellion and will try to do everything he can to win the war. The Varden are a strong group of very brave fighters and won't give up that easily.

But above all these human terrotories, the Elves rule. Ellesméra is the home for many elves, dwarves and humans and remains well hidden in De Weldenvarden. General Luka Demelo makes sure that even though the woods protect them, these people are still well traind. Not just in fighting with weapons, but also wit magic. Because after all, most elves are strong and agile and have the ability to use magic and speak the Ancient Language, which you will be able to learn too!
