Welcome to the Grey Area! You're probably wondering: What is the Grey Area? What does that even have to do with World of Metahumans or the DC Universe? Well, we all have our own definition of right and wrong. But do we really? Everyone has differing opinions and sometimes, being a hero does not mean someone is good and being a villain does not guarantee that the person is evil. In this brand new column, I want to explore the different opinions. Every week, I will put the spotlight on a DC character. (DON'T FORGET TO HOVER OVER THE PICTURE to flip the card.) Let's get started, eh!
--HARLEY QUINN--
Avatar
Harley Quinn also known as Dr Harleen Quinzel, was Joker's former girlfriend. She has a reputation for being highly destructive and has an obsession with explosive and things that go BOOM.

Would you consider her as an anti-hero?

MY OPINION:
If you are caught up with the Harley Quinn DC Universe tv series or even the comic issues, you would know that she managed to rip herself away from Joker. Honestly, at this point in time, I would label her as an anti-hero. Sure, she used to be a villain, but that was under Joker's influence. After losing her mind, she was practically a slave to Joker, doing his every bidding. But slowly, as she learnt to gain her own independence, she was seen to be much more smarter than she was given credit for.

Being together with Poison Ivy has shown us that she is capable of caring for people. And her current DC comics showed that further when she tries to protect her town from different attacks. All in all, I think it's safe to say that she's going through a sort of redemption phase and I am definitely here for her crazy, wacky anti-hero crusade.
