Are you planning a clandestine adventure to your nemesis’ not-so-secret lair? You might be thinking you want to engage in some covert operations to get some information on a nefarious plot? It may also be that you feel like this isn’t for you because of the skills required. Fear not I say, for together we can mould a master emissary of espionage out of you with these 5 helpful tips.

Tip 1. Camouflage In any environment that requires you to blend in with your surroundings camo is the way to go. Camo doesn’t always mean battle fatigues and greasepaint. It can also be a suit and tie, an enemy minion uniform, or even as simple as tech armor that projects the environment behind you rendering you basically invisible. Make sure you know your environment to use the most effective form of camouflage you can. The better your cover the higher chance of success.
Tip 2. Silence Maintaining a stealthy approach is a great way to get close to your target. When quiet, you can listen to the happenings around you to reduce your chances of being discovered. It’s also helpful to hear valuable intel that you might need to move closer to your goal. Silence is golden and you want to get rich.
Tip 3. Be prepared You can never anticipate what might come up when you infiltrate. Having a multi-purpose set of tools that can help you in a variety of situations is a must-have for any good covert specialist. Use things that can be easily concealed or are hidden in plain sight by being disguised as everyday objects. The right tool at the right time can mean the difference between success and ending up in a compromising position that puts you right into the hands or your vile villain.
Tip 4. Plan Ahead While you can’t always foresee some problems; it does wonders when you can plan your infiltration route, what to take, what you need to acquire, and your escape plan. The more information you go in with the less likely your cover will be blown, which can be risky business. Do your best to make a plan that includes all the steps you need to achieve the goal. Get information from all sources and develop a reasonable plan to counter as many what-ifs as possible.
Tip 5. Get out You have gone through a solid plan. You’ve used camo to blend. Your tools helped you get out of a couple tense situations. The information you needed is everything you hoped it would be. Now the important part is to make it out so you can use the intel. Depending on the situation and location good ideas for an exfil include stealing a vehicle from the enemy, a base-jumping suit with a parachute of course, or even a preplanned get-away helicopter ride from a friend.
