Hello everyone, welcome to my second blog post! Today, I have a piece submitted by our lovely and hardworking lilac, Avelaine Brimorgan!
(You can IM or DM me a piece you drew that you fancy for revision, and I’ll give my honest evaluation on it, what you can fix, and what you did astonishing on! (Honestly, all art is marvellous.) Info is at the bottom of this article)!
First of all, I just want to say, you nailed this piece. I was bewildered when I discerned they weren’t the same photo! Astonishing! The green framework and anatomy are just phenomenal. The communication between artwork and onlooker is crucial, and you killed it. This is by far the most high-grade piece I’ve ever witnessed in my life!
The dearth of shadowing and colour is limited yet the drawing and lineart itself are so amazing you don’t need colour nor shading. I said it once and I say it again, the green ink is just...so chefs kiss worthy. “If the art is able to elicit a feeling from the audience, then the artist has created an excellent piece.” Is whats said when looking at art, and you truly made an excellent pice here. I cannot reiterate this as satisfactory as I wish.
