Metahuman Graduates

Edition #2

Trickery and Deceit

Last week the new blog series Metahuman Graduates started, where we discuss the possibilities for you once you've graduated from Metropolis University. Today we continue this series with the subject of... Trickery and Deceit!

Trickery and Deceit is a two-year course. In these two years, you will be taught how to be the most evil version of yourself. It is all about how you can be the best villain possible. You will look into yourself and how you will want to deal with certain situations. What are your true intentions? What is your final goal? These questions will be answered in Trickery and Deceit. You will learn what it takes to be a true villain and maybe even have to put your skills to the test, during these classes.

After taking the two years of Trickery and Deceit classes, you might even gain the job of supervillain. A job where you'll enjoy doing evil things and creating chaos. Do know, however, that some superheroes might come after you once you've earned this status.

Interview with Anya Yildiz

We all know Anya, our Cosmic League Captain. However, that isn't her only job. No no, Anya is a Supervillain as wel. How she does it? Well, I guess that's one of her secrets.

Why did you decide to become the Master of Trickery and Deceit?
Why did I decide to become the Master of Trickery and Deceit? The better question is, why not? Who wouldn't want to teach like-minded people all about the ways of becoming an evil mastermind? Besides, being a Supervillain is fun, as is Trickery and Deceit! The world without Supervillains would be blunt, someone had to take up teaching them, am I right?

What is your favourite thing about being a Graduate Master?
Definitely working with people who think alike. It's all about the fact that, in my opinion, when a graduate is keen to attend a graduate course, they have a goal set in mind. The thought of that is what I like most about being a Graduate Master - people coming to the course with a goal. And with that, we can obviously track back to my first favourite thing about being a Graduate Master - being surrounded by people who think alike! But that speaks for itself.

What makes Trickery and Deceit different from any other class?
Chaos. A lot of chaos. Enjoyable chaos, however! When you set your foot in Trickery and Deceit, I doubt you'd be able to walk away from it. It's quite fun when you get the hang of it! Unlike some other classes, this one teaches you how to create chaos in an organized chaotic environment. But why should I spoil it all? You should see for yourself! ;)

What do you think people with the job of Supervillain can and should contribute to the Metahuman world?
Well, every Supervillain is different. This means every Supervillain will bring you a different challenge to face. You never know! One might attempt world domination. I think that the beauty of this job is that no one is quite prepared for your next move. That's why all I can say is - expect the unexpected. Though, I'd be very sad to see that the Supervillains aren't bringing any chaos into this world. That's what we are here for, after all! For all the party!

In one sentence, why should people take Trickery and Deceit?
Trickery and Deceit is made for all of those who have the evil mastermind buried deep within their soul; so in order to awaken that and to gain experience to become the greatest of them all - they should come to one of our secret meetings.

Is there anything people should know before taking your subject?
Before you come around, beware that some of our stunts aren't exactly safe. That's what the life of a Supervillain looks like out in the wild, real world. So be prepared for a lot of chaos and self-growth during your time in this course! Being a Supervillain isn't for everyone...but who knows? Maybe it is exactly made for YOU! Only one way to find out.

You've already reached the end of today's blog post. This one was all about Trickery and Deceit - a graduate class for the people who want to create some chaos - but who knows what graduate class we might discuss next time. Stay on the lookout for the next edition!
