Metahuman Graduates

Edition #3

Athlete Training

Welcome to a new edition fo the blog series Metahuman Graduates, where we discuss the possibilities for you once you've graduated from Metropolis University. Today we continue this series with the subject of... Athlete Training!

After hearing the name of the Athlete Training course, you probably already have an idea on what this subject entails. As the name suggest, you will do all the training a professional athlete does as well. How do you prepare your muscles for a match? How do you create a tactic for a game? What is the life of an athlete like. This is what Athlete Training is all about. Most of your classes will be on the field, but some might even take you inside. This subject mainly is a physical course and takes up two years.

After taking this course, you can find yourself in different fields - literally. Currently we already know people who are a Soccer player, a Baseball player, and even a Formula One Driver. After this course, you can become a Professional Sports Player within any sport you might like. Maybe ice hockey or tennis or basketball?

Interview with Quinn moreno

If you like watching sport games, then you might have seen this Graduate Master on the television before, as they are an excellent soccer player!

Why did you decide to become the Master of Athlete Training?
When I went through a difficult period of my life, I turned to exercise and sports to get out some of that frustration. My main focus was soccer but I also played other sports as a teenager. I kept moving up until it eventually got to the professional level. When I accepted my position as the Head of the Department of Metahuman Battles and Sports, I realized there was nothing more that I wanted to do with my life but help other young athletes hone their skills to become the next professional player!

What is your favourite thing about being a Graduate Master?
I think my favorite thing is how in depth we can go. The whole point of this training class is for those who truly want and have the time and skill to become that next top athlete. It's nice to be teaching a group of students who are so serious about the class and the slightly older students (usually) means a little more maturity.

What makes Athlete Training different from any other class?
I suppose the easy answer would be to say that it's a different subject. But I believe Athlete Training is different from the other classes because of the pure physicality. It's not a class where you'll sit painting something or studying a textbook or even going on heists. It's purely about the actual sports.

What do you think people with the job of Professional Sports Player can and should contribute to the Metahuman world?
I believe that professional players can actually contribute a lot. First of all, it provides an outlet for the rest of the world to watch sports and games which many people enjoy. Second, those who have worked so extremely hard to become a professional player usually have that really hardworking and perseverent nature about them because it really takes time to get to the professional level. I think having more of that in the Metahuman world is always a good thing.

In one sentence, why should people take Athlete Training?
People should take Athlete Training because it allows students to use their minds, to strategize effectively in games, get to their best possible performance physically and so much more.

Is there anything people should know before taking your subject?
Absolutely! The main thing to keep in mind is that this is not a class for beginners who are curious about sports -- this is training for those who want to become professional athletes. Please keep in mind the time, hard work, and skill needed to make it through all the way. Make sure that you're committed to the subject and willing to put in what it takes.

You've already reached the end of today's blog post. This one was all about Athlete Training - a graduate class for the people who like to get physical - but who knows what graduate class we might discuss next time. Stay on the lookout for the next edition!
