Short Story Competition

A Public Relations Event

Hello Metahumans! What's that? The Public Relations has brought a competition to you? Yes, we have! The Public Relation Officers have come up with two different prompts (described below) about which you can write a short story. All of the stories will be uploaded to WoMH's Wattpad account, but a winner will be chosen as well and they will receive a wonderful price! Now, let's get into the prompts!

Prompt 1

What if the DC characters were still walking around Metropolis? What if in 2042 your character got to meet these DC characters? This what the first prompt revolves around! You get to pick one DC character and write about your character meeting them. You can write about how they interact, why they might meet, or include anything else you'd like.

Prompt 2

When you first joined WoMH you chose a power for your character, but what if you had chosen another power? This is what the second prompt is about. For this one you will write a short story about what if your character had a different power (can be a power from any League). You can include things such as: how they would act, how it would change their life, and anything else you want to include.

There are, however, a few rules to the competition, they are as follows:
- All short stories have to be in 3rd person RPG.
- You can only participate once through the form! However, if you want to write more short stories, you can send them to the Public Relations Team via mail (they just won't count for the competition).
- The short stories have to be between 500 and 2000 words.
- The deadline is on Tuesday 16th of April, 11.59 PM CEST

All submissions have to be submitted through the following form: link to the form. A few days after submitting, the short stories will be uploaded to our Wattpad. (Don't worry, you can put this in the form, if you'd prefer not to.) You will hear from us only a few days after the 16th of April, once the winner has been decided!
