Homework Bank!

Issue #059

Hello, Meta Humans!

Welcome once again to another edition of Homework Bank! Homework Bank is, of course, going to continue, as we have seen a lot of people who have been interested in it, which is amazing! As always, we are also going to start out by looking at the people who have completed the homework bank for last week... That is...

  1. {%USER[Raphael-Hill]%} - $20 for 1 homework (1st Years)
  2. {%USER[Delilah-Brown]%} - $15 for 1 homework (1st Years)

Well done to those who has earned some extra money - they will arrive soon!

Now, for those of you who might be new here, or who might not know how homework back works, it is pretty simple: you will be given a list of homework that you need to do, and next to it will there be an amount of money. If you finish that homework and send it to me, you will be given IG money for doing the work! You will be given money for each assignment you do, which means the more assignments you do, the more money you will end up with.

To make it fairer for everyone, so everyone got a shot at earning money, we have divided everyone into four categories: first years, where only first-year homework will be included. Fourth years, where only second to fourth-year homework will be included. Seventh year, only fifth to seventh-year homework will be included, and the last category is grads, for grad homework.

In every Homework Bank, you will only be allowed to join one category. For example, if you are a graduate, you can technically join all the categories, but if you join the first-year category, you are not allowed to join the others at the same time - of course, you can still do the homework, but you will not get paid for it. However, when the next edition of homework bank comes out, you can change your category once again.

Now, should we see what this Homework Bank offers to us in return for money? Now, since this is our first Homework Bank, should we see what the bank offers to us in return for money?

You might be asking, "why is it getting more expensive for users with a higher use?", well, that is to motivate you to do your exams and go up through the grade.

So, now that we have seen what the homework bank has to offer us in return for homework, now, here is what you have to do:
  1. Choose your category! This is the table for the categories, more or less:

    Your Year Possible Categories
    1 1st
    2 1st
    3 1st
    4 1st, 4th
    5 1st, 4th
    6 1st, 4th
    7 1st, 4th, 7th
    Grad 1st, 4th, 7th, Grads

Remember that you can only pick ONE CATEGORY for one edition, no matter what year you are in. If you do homework for more than one category, I will make sure that you receive the most amount of money, so don't worry too much!

  2. Do the homework! This should be pretty self-explanatory. Do the homework that we have listed above! If you have done the homework from the previous years, don't worry, you can still participate!

  3. Submit your homework! Send a mail to Ambroise Desrosiers with "Homework Bank Submission" as the subject. You only need to submit the name of the subject, the year, and the week.

    Mail Example:
I chose Grads category. I have done Science Year 8 Week 1 and Trickery and Deceit Year 8 Week 1.

  4. The deadline to submit your homework is Tuesday, April 23rd, 2024 11:59 PM GMT. Two weeks from now! The next edition of Homework Bank will be out on the next day, and you will see yourself getting the money at the time!

  5. A little reminder that it's not a must to do ALL homework in one category to claim your prize. Doing one homework already earns you the money!

  6. One more thing to make things more interesting: you will get an extra $10 if you manage to complete the homework challenges for your category! For example, if you do all homework challenges for 7th Years, then you will receive $140 instead of $130.

  7. Happy writing and good luck!

Cheers,
