New Earth: The Place To Be

New Earth: A DC History

New Earth, or otherwise known as Earth-One was the mainstream reality of the DC multiverse in the comics from 1986 to 2011. The Earth started with the DC comic ‘Crisis on Infinite Earths’ and ended with the DC comic‘Flashpoint’.

The Start of DC's New Earth

Following the destruction of the Multiverse in 'Crisis on Infinite Earths', a single positive matter world (paired with the Antimatter world) was restarted, New Earth. It formed about 10 billion years after the Big Bang. Earth One- New Earth's past was the main focus of the New Earth Universe's new history, which tackled elements from Earth Two, Earth Four, Earth S, and Earth X. Because of this, even though it seemed to be the same as Earth-One before the Crisis, it was actually a New Earth that followed a history of multiple past earth - it was multiple universes put together. The Lords of Order and the Lords of Chaos arised after the cosmos is created. The Endless enter the universe, and sentient beings start to emerge.

The Atlantean Mystics & Atlantis

Calculha and Majistra, two formidable Atlantean mystics, rose to prominence as the world's most formidable sorcerers in this time period. White Magic was wielded by Calculha, a follower of the light, whereas Majistra, his sole living equal, practised the evil arts. Atlantis prospered and developed into a technologically adept society unmatched by any other in the world thanks to their influence.

143,000 BCE on New Earth

Despite magic being the primary power source across the continent, eminent thinkers started to acknowledge the benefits of science. As the rest of the world was still catching up on innovations like the wheel, the Atlanteans were creating extremely sophisticated technological marvels by 143,000 BCE. According to legend, the Atlanteans even succeeded in fusing magic and science to build the first spacecraft ever. It is estimated that this craft departed from Earth approximately 50,000 years ago. The surrounding human worlds of Rann, Thanagar, and Krypton may have been colonised by the crew of this craft, according to some conjecture.

New Earth's Dawn: DC's Superheroes

Origin stories show us not how to become super but how to be heroes, choosing altruism over the pursuit of wealth and power. As learnt through hundreds of different comic book conventions, fans have been remarkably candid about their lives and the inspiration they draw from superhero stories.

Zero Hour on New Earth

It became evident shortly after the first New Earth Crisis on Infinite Earths that Harbinger's assertion that there was only one Earth and thus that one history was false. The DC universe's timeline should have been "set" well after 2001, since Barry Allen had yet to confront Professor Zoom from the 25th century and Abra Kadabra from the 64th century. First there was the Pocket Universe, and then there were all the alternate universes glimpsed during Armageddon 2001. It used to be confusing, for sure. Not long afterward, Mongul, Cyborg, and Superman destroyed Coast City. Because of the Guardians of the Universe's heartless actions, which drove Hal Jordan insane with grief, he annihilated the Green Lantern Corps as well as the Guardians. He assumed a new identity once he had absorbed their abilities. Later, adopting the name Parallax, Hal would utilise his newly acquired abilities to compress reality and reconstruct it from the Big Bang onward by tightening the time loop Krona had constructed.

The Silver Age

The planet Krypton exploded and the Kryptonians were wiped out in the Silver Age of DC's New Earth, saving a small group of survivors in Kandor. Jor-El, the scientist who predicted the explosion, sends his young son Kal-El away in a rocket that transports him to earth. They found Jonathan and Martha Kent who named him Clark Kent; they taught him where and when to use his powers, paving the way for him to become Superman.

The Modern Era of New Earth

Years lacking Superman, Batman, and Wonder Woman, but not lacking heroes - and maybe some villains

Not one New Earth, but 52 DC Earths

It has been disclosed that the other Earths devised by Alexander Luthor merged again, piecing together past fragments to shape a single New Earth. Nevertheless, the original universe couldn't hold all its energy and started reproducing through hypertime, resulting in 52 identical Universes forming a new Multiverse, where many different hings happened.

Bruno Manheim

For one, Bruno Mannheim transforms in Intergang, incorporating a religious aspect from the Crime Bible; a text honouring Cain and Darkseid. Chang Tzu seizes multiple deranged scientists on Oolong Island and employs them in summoning the Four Horsemen of Apokolips.

Black Adam

Black Adam created an alliance of countries that are against the perceived American dominance in Metahumans, known as the Freedom of Power Treaty, which bans American Metahuman activities in those independent nations. Nevertheless, when Intergang attempts to offer him a bribe with a young Adreanna Tomaz, he releases her and ends up falling for her. He bestows upon her the abilities of the goddess Isis, and together they save her brother Amon, who receives a portion of Black Adam's power and transforms into Osiris, creating a "Black Marvel Family". Viewing him as a danger, Intergang and Chang Tzu release the Four Horsemen on Kahndaq, resulting in the deaths of Isis and Osiris.
