The Love Life of Iris West in the DC World
Barry Allen and Iris West originally met each other at the Gotham Gazette, where they got to work together. In a version of the timeline, she ran in quite a lot of time with Barry Allen as he worked for the Police Department, and even The Flash himself. In another version of the timeline, Barry Allen and Iris West ended up on a date, where Barry Allen eventually saw her with papers on her brother, Daniel. He thought she was just asking him out, so he could help her with the case. Their date ended in a failure but over the years Iris West continued flirting with him. After the correction of this timeline, the situation ended up being altered.
Their relationship had been long ongoing, and on the day that Barry was struck by lightning, he was supposed to meet up with Iris. A meeting, that he was unable to attend, as he ended in a months-long coma. After Barry eventually recovered, they would end up arranging a coffee date, which also ended up being interrupted as they were attacked by the Turtle. Here, he also saved her from an oncoming police car, before he went on to confront the villain. Iris was not happy about being left alone, but Barry managed to convince her to go out for dinner later in the day. This eventually started their romantic relationship, which evolved to them going on multiple dates over next couple of months. Iris West was even the influence to make the Flash a more public figure, and symbol of their city.
The Late Life of Iris West
Eventually Iris West and Barry Allen ended up married, even travelling to the future together. They ended up having a pair of twins, Dawn and Don Allen, while they were together in the future, but Barry had to come back to the present due to the Crisis. In the future, the twins would be working together to become the Tornado Twins, fighting for good in their future. While the future held much for them, the couple would experience having their memories of their relationship stolen by temporal manipulations of the quantum being. Through the many different timelines, Iris West experienced an interesting life with her large family, even being reunited with her brother, whom she had to turn her back on for good in the end, but no matter what, the relationship of the couple would be stronger than no other.
