Scimitar: Bodyguard in DC
Who is DCs Scimitar?
Scimitar was a character seen in the DC show
Arrow, for one whole episode - meaning the character is part of the known and beloved Arrowverse. They were seen as a rather bad character (their alignment literally stating ‘bad’ on the wiki page) and only ever appeared for one episode. Yet, it seems like he caught your attention!
A Brief History into Scimitar
So who is Scimitar? He was an assassin hired by Tobias Church, who needed to protect himself from Prometheus and assassinate the mayor. Which is where Scimitar came in and succeeded. Or not? Because actually, Scimitar hurt Human Target - an absolute master in disguise posing as the mayor. Later, in just one episode, Scimitar also fought with DCs Vigilantes Mister Terrific and Artemis, but did not survive it when Human Target hit him.
Scimitar’s Abilities
While there isn’t much known about Scimitar in general (with them only being in one episode), we do know a bit about his abilities. Mainly because Scimitar was so good in fights - having both throwing, firearms, and swordsmanship abilities. He also seemed to be in a perfectly good human condition, which should not be left out.

The Storyline with Scimitar
Should I repeat it briefly? I don’t want to spoil too much! But Basically, Scimitar was hired to assassin the mayor. But oh no, the mayor was not the mayor but Human Target - a master in disguise. In the whole episode, Human Target goes around looking like others. Until a final fight emerges…
Characters Besides DCs Scimitar
Next to Scimitar, there are quite some other characters in this DC show’s episode. Obviously, we have Human Target and the Green Arrow; but there is also the whole of team Arrow (including characters such as Artemis, Overwatch, and Ragman), and the police department is a big part of the episode. Then, there was also Quentin Lance, Susan Williams, and Viktor.
Locations of the Episode
This episode mainly takes place in two different places. There is Russia, which is mostly shown in flashbacks - and America, specifically Star City. The locations are not too different from the usual Arrow scenes, but still just as fun!
