While normally we do, indeed, stick to DC Characters and DC stories for our blogs - today, we wanted to discuss Invincible with you! A superhero story created by some super creative minds! Something that people of this site might be interested in, as well!The Synpopsis of Invincible
The story of Invincible follows a teenage superhero of the same name as the series, Mark Grayson. Just your normal high school senior - or well, if you forget the fact that his father is the superhero Omni-Man (the most powerful one on the planet, or so they say). It is thus not strange that Mark also develops superpowers. So, what does Mark do? He also starts working as a superhero! With his father as his mentor, they meet many other heroes and he even joins a superhero team called the Teen Team, at certain points. Then the story continues, and Mark learns some interesting things about his Physics teacher - who is not what it seems like. Oh, and his dad gets kidnapped!Ivincible’s Main Character
As said, the Main Character of Invincible is Invincible, Mark Grayson, himself; but there are also some more relevant characters. Such as Mark’s father, Nolan Grayson/Omni-Man, and Mark’s mother, Debbie Grayson. There’s an alien half-brother (Oliver Grayson the second), a partner (Atom Eve/Samantha Eve Wilkins) - and many more!Invincible Issues
In total, there are 144 issues underneath the Invincible series. With the first being released on January 22nd of 2003 and the final edition being released on February 14th on 2018. Despite that, there were many spin-offs to the series. Including Brit, The Pact, Atom Eve & Rex Splode, and Guarding the Globe. There is much to read if you want to get into this story. Oh, and don’t forget the series with a total of 3 seasons, released on the 25th of March, 2021. And this year (2025) a spin-offs series, Battle Beast, will be released.Where can I find these stories?

As said, many people work on a story such as this. Including Robert Kirkman as the mine writer and creator, but also Cory Walker and Ryan Ottley as the illustrators - and co-creator John Rauch.Robert Kirkman
Kirkman, the main writer for this series, has also worked on many different stories. He was also one of the main brains behind The Walking Dead series (which started out as a comic book, too, apparently!). And then, there are also many other series.
