Kryptonians: Advanced Humans

What exactly are Kryponians?

Most of you are sure to know Kryptnoians – but if you do not, do not worry as I am sure this article will teach you a thing or two. Kryptonians have for long been considered a humanoid-species, who are far more advanced than the humans we know from Earth. Structure-wise and appearance-wise, they look much like Earth humans, but when it comes to their biology they are more advanced. Due to their biology they are able to utilize the energy in their bodies in a more direct way than humans from Earth are. Kryptonians themselves are considered to have the greatest organic power units within the known galaxy – which is quite impressive. Largely because of this energy, they have developed superpowers and unique abilities that sets them apart from other humanoid-species.

Where do Kryptonians come from?

Kryptonians are known to come from the planet Krypton. This planet orbits the red sun Rao, and most may know it to be destroyed in an explosion in the early 1900s. Fragments from this explosion are called Kryptonite, and can give some unique abilities. Inhabitants of the planet spoke English, and used the Latin alphabet, and despite the race itself being incredibly advanced, they otherwise did not look different from Earth humans. The planet itself was incredibly old, said to have been born around six billion years ago – at least by Kryptonians standards. Despite the planet being so old, it was only around 10 thousand years ago that the human race began inhabiting the planet.

Kryptnoians in the DC

Kryptonians within the world of DC are incredibly impressive. I am sure most of you know about Superman and Power Girl, two Kryptonians brought to Earth before Krypton exploded. Both of these have shown incredible abilities, and showcased their unique Kryptonian physiology. Their cellular structure is much more dense and resilient, which makes it biologically more effective than the structure of normal humans. To properly use their enhanced cellular structure, it is required of them to be charged with yellow solar energy. If they are not charged, their abilities are much like those of humans from Earth. One interesting fact about the Kryptonian body is that they are believed to have multiple organs, whose functions we do not even understand yet. Maybe, one day we will learn the abilities of these organs.

Kryptonians on World of Metahumans

On our site, Kryptonians are part of the Hybrid league. This means that anyone with Kryptonians ancestry has one parent that is a Kryptonian and one that is a human. These hybrid Kryptonians have semi-immortality – their age conversion is different from humans, and it allows them to live twice as long, until 200. Some of the first abilities they show are enhanced senses – they have enhanced strength, speed, and stamina thanks to their cellular structure. When a hybrid Kryptonian joins Met-U and enters year 3, they earn a few other abilities due to their hard training – this includes Solar Radiation Absorption, which can help them strengthen their attacks, and Accelerated Healing, which means they heal faster than the average human and alien. At year 5 they gain Invulnerability – this means they have a strong immune system which keeps them safe from toxins and diseases, and it can also keep them safe from most force attacks. The only things this does not work on includes lead and magic based attacks, as Kryptonians are weak to those things. When a hybrid Kryptonian graduates from Met-U they get some cool abilities. They get Super Vocals, which is an enhanced voice created by muscle control. This makes their voice able to travel great distances, or make it powerful enough to shatter glass. They are also able to shoot Energy Blasts, and the blast can last up to 30 seconds. That is sure to keep the enemies away!
