What is Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice about?

The movie starts with a flashback of Batman achieving his abilities: then it jumps into current time where Bruce Wayne is a billionaire, and has operated as Batman for 20 years. Meanwhile, Superman has become a controversial figure, and Batman sees him as a threat to humanity. Superman (As Clark Kent), on the other hand, attempts to criticise Batman’s form of justice through articles in the Daily Planet. Attending a gala, Bruce attempts to steal encrypted data. As he tries to extract the information he has stolen, he has a dream about a postapocalyptic world. He is awakened from the dream by an unknown person coming through a portal that tells him he needs to find “the others” and that Lois Lane is the key. As the drive finishes loading, he comes to learn that Lex Luthor has files on different metahumans across the globe, including Wonder Woman who Batman met at the gala. Meanwhile, Luthor kidnaps Superman’s adoptive mother, Martha Kent, and Lois Lane, to lure him out of exile. After Lois is thrown off a building, Superman saves her, and confronts Luthor who explains that the distrust between Superman and Batman was manipulated. He also demands that Superman kills Batman, in exchange for Martha’s survival. When Superman talks to Batman, he tries explaining this, but in the dream Batman had, he saw himself fighting against an evil Superman. Hence, he attacks Superman, and subdues him using kryptonite gas. Batman hesitates at the last second as Superman asks him to save Martha (which is also the name of Batman’s mother), and it gives enough time for Lois Lane to arrive and explain what is going on. It snaps Batman out of it, and he goes to save Martha Kent. Luthor’s backup plan is a monster creature, created by DNA from his own and Zod’s body. Superman, Batman, and Wonder Woman fights together against the creature. In the fight, Superman is fatally wounded by the creature, and ends up dying after he deals the final blow.
