Song of the Week
Edition 28

Hey Metahumans! My name is Amethyst Jackson and in this bi-weekly blog, called Song of the Week, we will talk about music. Through this blog, I will take you on a journey to explore songs from every genre of music and see how they relate to the DC Universe. Let's get into it for today! This week's song is...

Firestone

Kygo, Conrad Sewell

I'm a flame, you're a fire
I'm the dark in need of light
When we touch, you inspire
Feel the change in me tonight

So, take me up, take me higher
There's a world not far from here
We can dance in desire
Or we can burn in love tonight

Our hearts are like fire stones
And when they strike, we feel the love
Sparks will fly, they ignite our bones
But when they strike, we light up the world

Our hearts are like fire stones
And when they strike, we feel the love
Sparks will fly, they ignite our bones
But when they strike, we light up the world
We light up the world

....

Kygo’s influence as an overnight success inspired other artists of the dance genre of music creating a new generation of dance music. His influence also inspired a modern version of the Tina Turner song "What's Love Got to Do It" released in 2020.

Related to the DC Verse

This song could relate to the Elemental league, especially with the power Geokinesis due to the song title and also what the ability of Geokinesis has.
