Zatanna: The Strongest Magician

Who is Zatanna?

Zatanna Zatara is one of the most well-known Homo Magi. She is half Homo Magi, walking in the footsteps of her father Zatara, and uses her powers to fight evil. Her mother was Sindella, who was a Homo Magi, while her father, Giovanni “John” Zatara, was a magician. Interestingly, Zatanna is directly related to quite famous people, such as Leonardo da Vinci, Nostradamus, and Nicholas Flamel, among others. Zatanna made a career out of doing magic shows, which she became a natural at doing because of her magical abilities, and even has a unique Magician’s hat which she can grab equipment out of, or even use as a portal.

Zatanna did much within the Justice League: she had the chance to figure out what the truth behind her mother’s death was, realising that she did not die, but was taken back to her people to help keep them alive. Unfortunately, it ended with her mother sacrificing herself. Later on, she helped take down the Secret Society of Super-Villains, but switched identity with Star Sapphire. She also got the chance to work with both Superman and Batman. With Superman, they worked together to understand his vulnerability to magic, and with Batman she helped clear a faith-healer’s name.

Zatanna’s Abilities and Powers.

Due to her species being a half Homo Magi, she has a lot of abilities and powers dealing with magic. As a tribute to her father, she would cast her spells by speaking backwards, and she was known to be incredibly powerful with magic she could do. She was also able to manipulate the elements: she was capable of pyrokinesis, cryokinesis, electrokinesis, hydrokinesis, geokinesis, aerokinesis, photokinesis, and umbrakinesis. She was capable of both telepathy, teleportation, and telekinesis. With her magic, she could travel through dimensions, and she could manipulate reality by inflicting confusion and mental traumas on her target. She is capable of chronokinesis, being able to stop time, but also move it backwards and forwards. She can affect the weather in an area, and can blast enemies with mystical energy. Interestingly, she is also able to fly and levitate, but chooses not to, because she finds it to require a lot of concentration and energy. She is also able to heal and alter her size, and many, many other things.

Because of her mother, Zatanna is half Homo Magi. The Homo Magi are a sub-race of humans, who are capable of wielding magic. They are also known as magicians, witches, and warlocks. The Homo Magi have slowly gone into hiding, because there are few purebreeds left. While quite a few Homo Magi began having children with humans, the rest went into hiding. Homo Magi are capable of magic in many different ways, from elemental control, to shapeshifting, necromancy, exorcism, reality alteration, and many other forms of magic. They are also known to have accelerated aging, and can live up to almost a thousand years.
