Welcome to the Grey Area! You're probably wondering: What is the Grey Area? What does that even have to do with World of Metahumans or the DC Universe? Well, we all have our own definition of right and wrong. But do we really? Everyone has differing opinions and sometimes, being a hero does not mean someone is good and being a villain does not guarantee that the person is evil. In this brand new column, I want to explore the different opinions. Every week, I will put the spotlight on a DC character. (DON'T FORGET TO HOVER OVER THE PICTURE to flip the card.) Let's get started, eh!
--AMANDA WALLER--
Avatar
Amanda Waller is a powerful political person who was involved in several espionage and law enforcement agencies. After she lost her husband and two children, she became someone who only cared about cold-blooded vengeance. Amanda Waller is also known as the person who put together The Suicide Squad after setting up a black-ops team called Task Force X.

Would you consider him as a anti-hero?

MY OPINION:
Many a times, when we read DC comics or even watched the much-criticized movie, The Suicide Squad, we would see how straight-forward and serious Amanda Waller was. Amanda was not someone who could ever be a hero, in my opinion. She did not follow the rules and to her, the ends justify the means. But an anti-hero? Definitely. She may seem cold-blooded at times, but she was determined to do whatever it takes to beat the bad guys. Even if it means using incarcerated criminals to do so.

At the end of the day, she did what Batman or Green Arrow would do, which was to use her own means to fight crimes. And it worked, didn't it? So, I think she deserved to be called an anti-hero. What do you think? Was she an anti-hero? Or just a normal government officer?

Do submit your vote and comment down your opinion. However, do be reminded that all opinions are valid and please refrain from scolding or insulting others for their opinions.
