Metahuman Classes

Edition #2

Healing

Hello, Metahumans! Welcome to a new edition of 'Metahuman Classes'. In this blog, we talk about the different classes we have on our site. This week we'll talk about... Healing!

Why do we learn it?

If you're in a dangerous fight and someone gets badly injured, you won't have the time to go to a hospital. Instead, you will have to put your own knowledge to use. You will have to help them with all your knowledge. A hero is someone who helps people. So what would a hero be without having the knowledge of healing someone? Not only this, but the things you learn in the Healing class can also be quite useful when having to figure out things regarding the human body.

What do we learn?

I think this pretty much speaks for itself. In Healing, you will learn all about healing people. This is very basic, though. Something the course isn't at all. Healing is a seven-year course, meaning that you will dive deep into it. You will learn how to keep yourself healthy, all about different medicine, and even about its history; and this isn't even all!

Interviews

We can't talk about Botany without getting either Octavia Rebelke or Apollo Catherson here, am I right? This is why I have an interview with them for you!

Octavia, Master of Healing

Octavia has been the Master of Botany for a while now and she has already taught us a lot.

Interview:

Why did you want to become the Master of Botany and not the Master of another subject?
Healing is a valuable skill and something that I take great pride in. When the opportunity arose I jumped at it as I knew it would be a wonderful role to share and expand my knowledge.

If you would be the Master of another subject, what would it be?
I would love to be the psychology master, as it is what I am pursuing a Ph.D. in, and could discuss it for days without getting tired.

What is your favorite thing about teaching?
I have had a passion for education for as long as I can remember, it is amazing to see my students grow not just within the subject but as writers and people.

Is there something you think students should know before taking Botany?
Expect the unexpected! I try my hardest to make sure one never knows what could be awaiting them each week and to make real-world practical knowledge fun and engaging. Also, I am always available to discuss any topics covered in class more in-depth or to assist with work to ensure you're submitting the highest quality assignments!

Apollo, Master's Aide of Botany

Apollo is Octavia's Master's Aide, and he is truly doing great, not only because of their relationship but also because of his love for the subject.

Interview:

Why did you choose to become the Master's Aide of Botany instead of another subject?
Those who know my relationship with Master Rebelke would know one reason I chose to be the Healing MA. Not only is she a wonderful aunt, but she is an amazing mentor, and I have grown as a person more than what I knew was possible. Along with that, I know a great deal of medical practice outside of WoX and knew that I could be a benefit to her.

What is your favorite thing about working with Master Rebelke?
Master Rebelke has a lively energy, especially around her family, and when she is doing Healing work, she is able to put that energy to use and what she can accomplish is amazing.

What is your favorite thing about being a Master's Aide?
Seeing more people send in Healing homework is a joy in my life. I love seeing the regular people, don't get me wrong, but the feeling of excitement that comes when there is a new name on the grading list, it's just a feeling like none other.

What is your best tip for students making Botany homework?
Don't just shoot for the minimum. Don't just complete the requirement and answers on the assignment. Give detail and personality to your work. It makes things more fun to read and provides a challenge to see if you actually got everything needed. Have fun, and enjoy the ride!

Conclusion

In conclusion, there is much to learn about Healing. The Master and the Master's Aide clearly know a lot about it and love to share their knowledge. It seems like it is a class worth taking, not only because it is fun, but also because it can be incredibly useful in your future.

Are you curious about what subject we might discuss next time? Then stay on the lookout for any new blogs that will get published in the future.
