"You know, it's not nice to bully others!" The little girl pouted as she crossed her arms to emphasise her point. "Mom said you have to always let me play with you, because you're the elder brother!"
Jackson rolled his eyes as he listened to her. He was tired, honestly. And it was really not his job to babysit her. Why can't she just take care of herself then? After all, he was not born to be her keeper. He sighed dramatically, carrying his soccer ball. "Look, you can't follow me this time. We're going to adult places that you can't go into. You should go and play with kids your own age, you know."
With that, he stomped off, annoyed at his little sister's antics. Jemma just looked at her brother's retreating back and sat on the pavement. She did not want to be home alone! And Mom said that she should go wherever Jackson goes. But... she did not want to anger him either. She let out a huge sigh, blowing against her bangs.
"Hello there!" The little girl almost jumped at the cheery face suddenly in front of her. She frowned and said, "Mom said I should not talk to strangers."
"Ah, but you are talking to me now and nothing bad happened, right?" The smiley face replied back. Jemma thought about it before smiling back. "I'm Jemma, what's your name?"
"I'm Gonki, a dwarf from far away. Is it okay if I take you away from here? You seemed lonely and I'm sure your brother wouldn't mind. After all, he did say that you should hang out with people like you, and look at me! I'm as small as you!" Gonki replied cheerfully. The girl nodded excitedly, placing her hands in his. She was too caught up in her excitement to realise the smile that was turning sinister on the dwarf's face.
