Superboy is a genetic clone of Superman and Lex Luthor, commonly referred to as Kon-El and Conner Kent. Because Superboy was imprisoned on Gemworld during the Flashpoint, a genetic clone of Jon Lane Kent emerged in his place, creating a second iteration. But in the end, his allies saved the original from Gemworld. He has participated in Teen Titans and Young Justice.
Kon-El joins groups like Young Justice, the Teen Titans, the Legion of Super-Heroes, and others as Superboy, becoming an important figure in the teen hero world. He forges close bonds with Robin, Impulse, and Wonder Girl during this period, as he struggles with the emotional burden of his manufactured persona and his connections to his Kryptonian and human ancestry.
When Kon-El battles Superboy-Prime during the Infinite Crisis incident, he bravely gives his life to save many lives. His passing has an enormous effect on the public and his peers, inspiring Titans Tower and Metropolis to build tributes. He eventually returns to the present timeline, where he reunites with Krypto and Martha Kent in Smallville, after being resurrected in the 31st century by the Legion of Super-Heroes using a Kryptonian regeneration chamber.
The origin of Kon-El is reinterpreted in the New 52 reboot, where he is presented by the group N.O.W.H.E.R.E. as a clone of Jon Lane Kent, the son of Superman and Lois Lane from a different timeline, with the goal of curing Jon's unstable physique. In a dramatic turn of events, Kon-El gives his life to save Argo City in the last days of Krypton, only to live on and continue to exist under the direction of an enigmatic being known as the Oracle.
Other than Clark Kent, Lex is the cause for Kon's creation as well as a component of his genetic composition. Despite Kon's eventual rejection of Lex's authority, their relationship is still complex. Although Lex has called Kon his son and even expressed his grief over his passing, he also views him as a botched experiment, the result of "wrong alien DNA."
In the comics, Kon's most well-known romantic relationship is with Wonder Girl (Cassie Sandsmark), especially when he was a member of the Teen Titans. Many readers find resonance in their well-documented friendship. A new chapter in Kon's romantic life has been opened with the formal canonization of the animated pairing with Miss Martian (M'gann M'orzz) in Action Comics #1057.
Notably, Kon-El also possesses tactile telekinesis, a telekinetic force field that surrounds his body and gives him flying, telekinetic blasts, enhanced strength, simulated heat vision, invulnerability, and molecular-level object manipulation abilities. This telekinetic field has the ability to interfere with electronic systems and protect others.

‣ Superboy's History
In 1993, Kon-El, whose real name is Conner Kent, made his debut in The Adventures of Superman #500. His background was later revealed to be that he is a hybrid clone manufactured from both Superman's and Lex Luthor's DNA, intended to be Superman's successor or replacement. Originally, he was introduced as a metahuman clone made by Project Cadmus using human DNA. Later, he takes on the secret identity Conner Kent when Superman grants him the Kryptonian name Kon-El.Kon-El joins groups like Young Justice, the Teen Titans, the Legion of Super-Heroes, and others as Superboy, becoming an important figure in the teen hero world. ‣ Superboy's Relationships
Despite the fact that Kon-El was synthesized using DNA from both Lex Luthor and Superman, Clark (Superman) eventually adopts a brotherly and mentoring role. He introduces Kon to his adoptive parents, the Kents, and chooses the Kryptonian name "Kon-El" for him. With time, Clark establishes himself as a dependable presence in Kon's life, providing the direction and familial bond he so desperately needed.Other than Clark Kent, Lex is the cause for Kon's creation as well as a component of his genetic composition. ‣ Superboy's Abilities
Superboy, also known as Kon-El, has strong psychic talents in addition to a hybrid Kryptonian body. Superhuman strength, speed, stamina, durability, accelerated healing, enhanced senses (including vision abilities like heat vision, X-ray vision, infrared, telescopic, and microscopic vision), super-breath, flight, longevity, and the capacity to survive in the vacuum of space are among the many classic Superman powers he acquires when exposed to Earth's yellow sun.Notably, Kon-El also possesses tactile telekinesis, a telekinetic force field that surrounds his body and gives him flying, telekinetic blasts, enhanced strength, simulated heat vision, invulnerability, and molecular-level object manipulation abilities. This telekinetic field has the ability to interfere with electronic systems and protect others.
