Star City, the capital of technology in northern california, is known for its protector: Emerald Archer, The Green Arrow
Founded by Colonel Jeb Star, Fort Plymouth (Star City) grew into a prosporus trianing community, attracking traders all the way from Canada. When the continental railroad system was established (1860s), Forth Plymouth soon developed into a thriving cattle down with large ranches, slaughternouses and stockyards. This, however, didn't last long. In 1897, the area was set ablazed. Developers and Architechs worked hard to rebuild the city and named it after it founding father, Jeb Star.
Home of Green Arrow
The city was well known for its ties with the Emerald Archer, Green Arrow (Oliver Queen). Oliver had left the city with his friend, Hal Jordan (a green lantern) to travel the country. But after some time, he returned to Star City and the city is now known as the Green Arrow's base of operation and home.
Events
1) Demonic Dome: A disaster caused by a philanthropist and amateur occultist, Albert Davis. Albert had cast a dark spell over the city, encasing the city in an inpenetrable bubble, blocking out all means of connection (and signal). The city was plunged into darkness and was closely monitored by demons who uses fatal means to bring 'peace'. The city was later saved by Green Arrow and his partners (Mia Dearden and Conner Hawke) who fought the weapons alongside the star city police. Albert was shot by Mia and all the city was reverted back (demons returning to native dimensions).
2) The Amsterdam Disaster: Star City was the main city for the repeated catching and escaping of Merlyn (who was a pawn Dr. Arthur Light). Several bombs were set off in the city, reducing large amounts of building to rubble and killing thousands. This lead to the building of a wall around the some areas, known as The Glades.
3) Prometheus' Attack: Prometheus decided to take revenge on Justice league by targetting their cities. While most are saved, Star City was not. The city was yet again bombed and the city's 'protector', Oliver Queen, was arrested and exiled for not doing his job right.
4) The Forest: Right after Prometheus' attack, a large forres appeared in the shape of a star. Green Arrow continue to operate in the area despite being exiled. THe forest would help Green Arrow. The forest was no ordinary forest. In fact, no abilities or powers were able to be used in the forest and the forest was grown using the power of the Whilte Lantern but corrupted by Black Lantern's force. The trees appeared darker after some time while growing/expanding and ended up attacking Green Arrow due to the corruption.
Oliver managed to save the forest and returned to its original size and lived peacefully with the Star City.
